2. Production
This is the glamorous and fun part of the business, and in many ways the easiest – if you’ve done your homework. But whether it’s a small production or a large one, it will only be a success if you have developed your workout for camera and done thorough pre-production work before the cameras start rolling. You’ll hear the phrase “we can fix it in post” a lot. But why break it in the first place? Plan for greatness; and enhance your work in post – instead of fixing it.
On a day-by-day comparison, production will be the most expensive part of your overall budget because there are so many things to pay for at once: stage rentals, cameras, lighting, wardrobe, food, audio, director, producers and the entire crew! Don’t waste this time putting out fires – the most fun I ever get to have is when I’m well-prepped and relaxed; then I’m open to more creative moments with my cast and crew – that’s when the best shows are produced.
3. Post-Production
Music, graphics, and editing. This is all part of your budget, and carefully allotted during pre-production. MEGA MACE does all of this for the client, and in most cases the client is simply approving work at certain steps in the process. MEGA MACE is responsible for delivering everything from soup to nuts, as they say. I work with composers, editors and graphic designers, bringing everything together into a compelling audio-visual celebration to support the trainers delivery of a fantastic workout everyone will enjoy doing again and again.
