Factory (pilot)

Mitch Rouse (actor, director, writer) just squeezed the better part of a month into a week working day and night cutting together his new pilot, Factory, with editor Leo Marini.

Mitch Rouse wrote and directed Employee Of The Month, which premiered at Sundance in 2004. He also wrote Without A Paddle, last summer’s #1 comedy and created the Comedy Central’s Strangers With Candy.

A Bunch of Bottles

When Mason and Leo sat down to have a creative discussion about Beachbody’s world of Supplements Mason realized Leo was going to be worth his weight in gold (or at least pewter). Mason pitched an idea to Beachbody that would eliminate the need for a traditional shoot, instead creating the supplement products completely in 3D. Beachbody went for it and the end result was a fresh new look with a visually stunning way to reveal what’s basically a bunch of bottles.

P90X Infomercial

Leo's strong design sense brings a host of impressive ideas to every project. But his ability to think "big" and execute plans with his mastery of Final Cut, 3D and After Effects is as impressive as the ideas themselves. He started his education of post-production at the age of 12 when he finagled his way into an internship at STRATA. By the time he was 16 he had been trained at NEWTEK, becoming an expert in Lightwave, After Effects and Media 100. A self-taught editor and designer, Leo has built a solid reel of music videos, commercial spots, TV pilots, festival-winning shorts and features, and if that's not enough to convince you he's the man for the job - come on in and talk to him yourself in one of the other 3 languages he speaks - Italian, Dutch or Spanish.
