GOING for GOLD!

Mason has teamed up with Hollywood stuntman Keith Campbell (IMDB credits) and Olympic Gold Medalist Mitch Gaylord to form Mitch Gaylord’s Gold Medal Fitness, LLC.

The company is developing a fitness series and infomercial utilizing Mitch’s Gold Medal training techniques and drawing from his Olympic experiences as a world class gymnast.

A 90 day trail has already been completed with staggering results. Check back for a sneak peak late Summer ’05 and look for GMF on the infomercial airwaves by years end.

Suzuki ’06 / Matrix Consultants

Welcome Matrix Consultants – our newest clients! By summer's end Mega Mace will have updated the content on kiosks at Suzuki dealerships allowing customers to view the historical progression of a car, see it in different colors, and with different options – “Would you like to see that in a Red Pearl sir?”

Summer Fun!

GAMEWORKS was just acquired by the video game giant SEGA Entertainment and Mega Mace is helping make the transition with new :30 second summer commercial spots, a Group Sales DVD, and a kick-off video that introduced the CEO at their national gaming conference. There’s lots more coming from this growing company and Mega Mace will be there.

Alzheimer's Association of Orange County

In 1982, when a few concerned people banded together to form a local chapter of the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, it was estimated that approximately 9,000 people in Orange County suffered from Alzheimer's disease. Today, that number is estimated to be well over 40,000.

Mega Mace is proud to be helping the AAOC with a video that offers hope and compassion in the face of this unrelenting disease. Working closely with Exec. Director Jim McAleer a new video will be ready for community outreach programs, PSA usage and fund raising events by early fall.
L.A.A.S.
Dexter, pictured on the left, is a rescue dog and the events that lead to his adoption put Mason in contact with the LA Animal Services’ PR director Capt. Knipscheer to see what else could be done to help. The first thing on the agenda – a PSA that will run on the Sunset Blvd. 19x24 foot Jumbotron – watch for it later this summer or early fall. (To adopt a pet, volunteer, get a microchip for you pet, find out about free neutering services, or learn about the new directive “Saving Animals Lives” visit the LA Animal Services website.
The Real FAME!

Mason just organized his 20-year high school reunion where he attended the “famed” School of Performing Arts in Times Square. Highlights included a cabaret event with performances by Tony Award winner Pricilla Lopez singing “Nothing” a capella and  Glynn Turman’s improvised Tour de Force. Mason took honors as MC as well as recreating a scene from Death of a Salesman he did with the same scene partner 22 years earlier.

CRITICAL DECISION

Level Seven’s Chris Van Howten brought veteran producer John Levoff of New Frontier Entertainment to Mega Mace for a special Armed Forces job. Entitled “Critical Decision” John, Mace, Chris and editor Leo Marini spent the better part of two months fine tuning the piece highlighting the moments when officer has to make hard choices in battle.

“NO COKE!”

Coca-Cola was purposely branded throughout the original Johnny Rockets spot but the client came back and said, “Could we cut the Coke parts out?” We did one better and rotoscoped each frame replacing the Coke emblem with a Johnny Rockets logo. Our clients were thrilled and they saved a bundle compared to a re-shoot. Take a look and see what you think.
