KFC - DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME

Mason and Team MEGA MACE collaborated on a "KFC Bigger Better Popcorn Chicken" spot and submitted it for the national spot competition. The spot "DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME" was conceived over beer Thursday September 11, it was shot Wednesday September 17, edited and shipped off in time for the September 23 deadline.

P90X The Videos Forge Ahead

Mason and Creative Director, Ned Farr, have begun the scouting process to find the perfect space to use as the backdrop for the now, 13 videos in the P90X series. Go to P90X for video clips and more updates on this exceptional exercise product.

Mason's not just another big talking director. While Tony Horton was away in Hawaii with other Beachbody business, Mason stepped in and taught Kenpo, Yoga X, Core Synergetics and Stretch - 7 of the P90X Test Group classes in Santa Monica .

GoFlex - 3 videos shot on location in 3 days.

Michael George, trainer to the stars, will demonstrate the GoFlex in 3 short videos that can be used in conjunction with this versatile piece of exercise equipment. Two of the videos will be shipped with the GoFlex, and the third will be used as an up-sell item. Shooting beings in the end of July - watch for the GoFlex infomercial in late September or October. P90X - Fitness giant Beachbody is developing their most ambitious series yet. This 11 part video series is a challenge for those who are already fit.

MEGA MACE Producer/Director D. Mason Bendewald is not only at the creative helm of the video series, he has also worked out with Tony Horton and the P90X development team for 6 days a week and for over 3 months! Production is beginning late summer with product launch in early fall of 2003.

"Heroes of El Faro" - a mini documentary used to raise awareness and funding was a huge success.

MEGA MACE's key charity is Casa Hogar El Faro #2, an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. This year marked the first Hollywood fund raiser for the children, with a turn out of more than 700 guests, raising enough money to feed over 100 children for the next year.

DVDworx - starts cranking 'em out again.

After settling in Beverly Hills, MEGA MACE re-launched its subsidiary company's web site DVDWORX.com and orders started rolling in. At the time of this writing, last week alone brought in DVD authoring jobs including: PHASE ONE, a sport-bike stunt video from Maryland, TILLY, a made for television film from Colorado, and a sales DVD for Johnson and Murphy Advertising, LLC. from California.
