Mason Bendewald is a graduate from the Art Institute of Philadelphia where he majored in Music and Video Business. Upon graduation in 1995, Mason founded Mini Mace Pro Pictures, a professional film and video production company based in the Philadelphia market.

In 1998, Mason established the RejectFilmFest, an alternative film festival that received enthusiastic reviews from Time, Entertainment Weekly, Variety, NPR Radio and the Associated Press. Mason's well known success in Philadelphia lead him to be named one of Philadelphia Style Magazine's "100 Philadelphians to Watch" in 2000.

By 2002, Mini Mace Pro had outgrown the Philadelphia market, so Mason moved the company to Los Angeles and renamed the company MEGA MACE. Mason is at the helm of the company as a director, producer and writer.

With MEGA MACE, Mason received the opportunity to merge his passion for health and fitness with his directing talent. In 2004, Mason penetrated the fitness market by directing Tony Horton's P90X, a home fitness phenomenon. He solidified his name in the industry and has directed numerous workout videos by top trainers in the industry, including Shaun T, Debbie Seibers, Diamond Dallas Page and Olympic gymnast, Mitch Gaylord.

Rather than just sit back and let the trainers do all the work, Mason gets in the action. Mason personally participates in each and every fitness regimen before shooting in order to completely understand the program and provide strategic and tactical consultation. He assists in designing the workouts, perfecting moves and helping the trainers focus on the presentation, which allows them to shine on camera and help their customers reach their fitness goals.

Mason's experience with trainers has taught him how to identify the most efficient way to capture a sequence of moves that will result in an instructionally sound viewer experience. Mason is knowledgeable on how to properly support a trainer to ensure they are informative, authoritative and entertaining.

Mason is a leading director for Beachbody, creator of the nation's most popular in-home fitness and weight loss solutions. Mason has directed over 100 videos for Beachbody, including some of their best selling videos P90X, Slim in 6, RevAbs, and Ten Minute Trainer.

In addition, MEGA MACE, under the direction of Mason Bendewald, has been responsible for hundreds of commercials, infomercials, promotional videos, music videos, and documentaries as well as five short films. MEGA MACE has produced commercials and infomercials for many companies including, Warner Bros, Tele Pictures, Para Media, Sega GameWorks, and Pepperdine University.
